The arcade classic, rebuilt for keyboards and phones. Every star you eat makes you longer and a little faster. Grab the bonus gem before it vanishes for big points. By default you wrap around the edges; switch on solid walls for the hardcore version.
How to play Snake
- Press Play, then steer with arrow keys, WASD, swipes or the on-screen pad.
- Eat stars for 10 points each — you grow by one segment.
- Bonus gems are worth 50 but disappear quickly.
- Running into your own body ends the game. Space pauses.
Tips and strategy
- Hug the edges early to keep the middle open for later.
- Move in long zig-zag lanes when you're long — it keeps an escape route free.
- Don't chase a gem if it means trapping yourself.
- Turn on solid walls only once you're comfortable — it removes the wrap-around safety net.
